Hi, I saw your website through my follow list and I like it very much. I like the page you put inside the teacup, the words you wrote are very #real and I think more people should live by them. I added your link

heyy I saw your blogpost about domain name from the rss feed, and I was wondering where did you get it from? I've been wanting to get a custom domain, but I haven't found anyone that really explained how they got it. So I'd love to hear how it was like for you!

Replied on: April 15, 2026 at 7:44:55 AM

first you want to find a registrar so basically domain vendors and once you buy it, you're gonna have access to a dns panel, go into a thing called dns records, nekoweb has a page on what it wants you to slap there. if that doesn't work, you go make a cloudflare account and change your dns servers to theirs. sounds complicated and technical but it's honestly just "copy and paste x into this field". i recommend taking your time while looking for your domain and definitely compare the pricing since most registrars like to act like you're getting the best bargain of your life except you're probably not. i spent a few months just browsing through different registrars, thinking up domain names, comparing tld renewal prices (.org, .net .pl .yokohama etc etc) before settling on the one i have now. i hope that's a good explanation?

YO!!! super cool awesome website! I adore it! I found you through the rss feed and i was wondering how you set up individual post pages like that? Super snazzy Have a great day!

Replied on: April 15, 2026 at 7:33:39 AM

i use the layout directive, you make a layout page and then when writing the post add the directive linking to the layout html file and it should insert the content of the post into the layout! for the feed i use the simplerss script by 55sketch on github
